"Plan 9 From Outer Space"

The poster with colours...hoho, most important there are Edward face on it. ( I think Vampira looks like Suzanna in Sunderbolong series, does it?)

I recently watch a movie entitled “Plan 9 from outer space” by Edward D Wood Jr. Mr. Mark says that this movie has been awarded as the worst movie of all time, so my expectation is definitely stumpy even before the starting of the movie. The dialogue that was narrated by Criswell at the opening of the movie already visualized how the rest of the part in the movie will be. With the plot that is very slow, unnecessary dialogues, and the hilarious effect had make me laugh until I feel like about to roll on the floor. I felt like this is more to a comedy movie rather than horror because I think it could not even scare the little kid. The most unforgettable part is the flying saucer, because it looks like a real plate that I used to eat my Maggie with. In deep of my thinking, I feel that I had wasted my precious hours by watching this movie.

However, sometimes I feel that people saying about don’t judge a book by it appearance does really make sense. The beauty of the movies lies in how the movie was being making. The Movie entitled “Ed Wood” is a turning point for me and all of audience who had watch “Plan 9 from outer space”. It tells us how the strong souls of Edwood jr. with his friend Bela Lugosi in the struggle to produce a good movie. The other trilogy undergoes during the making of “Plan 9 from outer space” make people want to watch it again and again. The message of hardship and value of humanity make this movie to be unique and unforgettable movie to be watched. Since Then, I admired Edwood very much, due to his real passion towards the world of movie and directing.

The Eureka moment In my life

I have been thought about “Eureka” moment which was one of Archimedes theory during the era of ancient Greece. The history of Eureka begins when Archimedes, the Greece scholars was taking bath. He realize that the water level roses as he stepped in. He understood that the water volume displace must be equal to the volume of his part of body has submerged. Since then, he terms the word Eureka which also means “i understand”.

The story on how Eureka firstly being term makes me recall on my old memories. I had realized I have been through some Eureka moment myself. The story starts during I was still in high school. When I was in form 4, I was transferred to other school. During the first day, I could only make friend with a guy in my class. These guy appearances are quite unattractive. This is because his front teeth are missing, and left side of his faces is hideous. Due to this, people often call him “Two Face”, as he looks like a villain from Batman series. However, he is a positive thinker, and always smiles and laughs although he knows that his face expression could even scare a dog away.

Although I feel pity for him, some part in me I felt impressed of his spirit. I wonder why he keeps laughing although people make fun of him. When I ask about his feeling, he would just say that he is always happy. He says that even he is sad; he will never show his emotion towards people.  He also said that people criticism on his appearance will just make him more focus in achieving his mission and vision. But what make me amaze is, he got 7A’s for his SPM, although he are having a hard day for most of his school life.   

After a year, I had learned new thing from a quotation in internet. It says, “Laughter is the best medicine”. It can overcome your stress, and can get rid all of your negative thinking. Because by thinking positive we are one step closer to success. This is where my Eureka moments come. Now I know the answer to my question long ago. Since that day, i show my laughter to other people in any kind of situation. I am no longer a negative thinking person like before. This is how I experience my first Eureka moment.
